If one is ultimately just an individual life in the Universe, obviously one transcends alone, but if one is an entity which requires pairing, such as the great forces of existence, it may be necessary to find one's partner before transcending, though not necessarily.

Once seeing and understanding the wholeness of existence, it is absolutely possible for any and every thinking (at least any) being to not only transcend boundaries of rules in existence but to consciously be the mind behind Manifest Reality, the Master Architect, or a Master Architect. The pleasure of various minds being part of The (vs A) Master Architect is the union of effort, a social creation.
