A Problem with Disregard for Proper Language Over Time

At one point language had layers of meaning, not simply in ambiguity of definition, which can at times muddle the picture/perception, but in the composition of words and letters, numerical associations, symbolic representations, there can be found much clearer and thorough meaning. As language is carelessly modified, comprehension is lost.
Purposeless slang, vainly eponymous namings for scientific discoveries, and poor translations assumed perfect all administer to the loss of understanding and the flourishing of ignorance.

Within any religion (any society) over time, there is a range of understanding; there is understanding, recognition of not understanding, and misunderstanding. At different times this general balance varies, sometimes more favorable, encouraging Light, Love, Liberty, and sometimes it is less favorable, encouraging destruction, disdain, drudgery.
