Manifest reality is a constant series of connections, similar to the idea of the connections within the brain, endlessly carrying information back and forth. Even if there isn't a Great Consciousness of Manifest Reality there is at least a subconscious intelligence of the totality of Manifest Reality.
There is No Conflict Between Spirituality and the Physical Sciences

Spirituality is a concept, whereas religion is an institution.
There is no conflict between the physical sciences and spirituality, but there can be serious conflicts between the physical sciences and religions, or interpretations of their content. Just as religions can be presumptuous corruptions of spirituality, pseudo-science is a presumptuous corruption of real scientific pursuit. Spirituality and science are the same: the pursuit of ultimate truth in everything. Dogmatic religion and pseudo-science are the same: presumptuous declarations knowledge without concern for truth.
